Qual Distance: 10 yards (30ft) No time limit. 

Passing Score: 80% of shots in the vital zone (10"x12"). Any shot outside of silhouette is a failed qualification.  

You must qualify with each handgun on your permit (25 rounds each). If you would like to ADD a handgun to your permit, you will do it at this time (no extra charge). You can now have 6 handguns on your permit!

Classroom Lecture starts at 4pm on the first day and the Shooting Qualification takes place between 4pm-8pm on the second day. Both portions are located at:

Qualification Shoot: 

• CCW handgun(s), (you can have 6 on your permit)
• 25 rounds of ammo per handgun (the range sells ammo for most calibers; call for availability at Ballistic Precision 707-798-5155)
• Eye & ear protection (for sale at the range)

Classroom:

• A GREAT attitude (we're like-minded people studying what we care about.. come to learn and have a good time).
• Notepad & pen
• Snacks & Drinks (there will be coffee! Another reason to have a great attitude)
• Seat cushion (you'll be happy you did)

The cost is $150 for this for 8 hour renewal class.

Shooting Qualification Cost: A membership with Ballistic Precision will cover all range fees. If you are NOT a member of the range, you will need to pay range and target fees; approx. $25

After completing this course, you will be eligible to apply for your renewed permit with the Sheriff's department. We will go over this process during our class (the process is easier than it sounds). The application has it's own requirements and costs associated with it.
